International Business Centre




Melbourne's International Business Centre (IBC), a collaboration between the Victorian Government and the private sector, will encourage investment and trade with Asia and offer convenient facilities to overseas business visitors.

Much of Victoria's future growth will be in emerging markets like China and India, and the International Business Centre will help assist Asian investors to explore opportunities to invest and trade with Victoria.

The Centre provides a range of services that make it an ideal facility for companies wishing to do business in Victoria - it can assist small to medium sized companies with professional office space and facilities and a range of business services, including:

  • workstations with broadband internet access
  • telephones, fax machines and photocopiers
  • small and large meeting rooms
  • conference room.

A range of other confidential services are also available including:

  • translation services
  • access to market intelligence
  • business networking
  • assistance with supply chains
  • administrative services including catering and postage.

Nature of Assistance



Potential investors can access the International Business Centre for no charge for the first two weeks, and then use the facilities for minimal cost for short-periods.

Location



Melbourne's International Business Centre is within walking distance to a range of business and government offices, and is located at 486 Albert Street, East Melbourne.
