The Victorian Government Business Office in Dubai offers facilities and export-related assistance to Victorian company representatives visiting the region.

Access Middle East aims to assist Victorian companies to:
|
- forge new relationships with Middle Eastern partners
- market their products more effectively
- as appropriate, to set up an operation in the Middle East
|

Nature of assistance
|
Victorian companies planning to establish new export markets in the Middle East - and visiting Dubai to identify export opportunities in the region - may be eligible to use the Victorian Government's office facilities including:

- desk space, wireless or ADSL internet access
- local phone, printer, copier, fax
- initial market research
- cultural training
- introductions and networking
- logistical support
- agent identification
- product/service evaluation
- support at exhibitions and trade missions
- conference room facilities for up to 8 people

Level of assistance
|
Companies can use this program free of cost for the first two weeks and for a reduced rate thereafter of US$250 per month for up to three months.

Eligibility criteria
|
Victorian companies wishing to use the program must receive approval from the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development. Bookings should be made in advance. The program is available on a 'first-come first-served' basis.
