The Victorian Government Business Office in Bangalore, India offers facilities and export-related assistance to Victorian company representatives visiting the region.

Access India aims to assist Victorian companies to:

  • forge new relationships with Indian partners
  • market their products more effectively
  • as appropriate, to set up an operation in India

Nature of assistance



Victorian companies planning to establish new export market in India - and visiting Bangalore to identify export opportunities in the region - may be eligible to use the Victorian Government's office facilities and services including:

  • desk space and computer (with broadband access)
  • local phone, printer, copier, fax
  • initial market research
  • cultural training
  • introductions and networking
  • logistical support
  • agent identification
  • product or service evaluation

Level of assistance



Companies can use this program free of cost for the first two weeks and for a reduced rate thereafter of US$250 per month for up to three months.

Eligibility criteria



Victorian companies wishing to use the program must receive approval from the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development. Bookings should be made in advance. The program is available on a 'first-come first-served' basis.
