Access India aims to assist Victorian companies to:

- forge new relationships with Indian partners
- market their products more effectively
- as appropriate, to set up an operation in India

Nature of assistance
|
Victorian companies planning to establish new export market in India - and visiting Bangalore to identify export opportunities in the region - may be eligible to use the Victorian Government's office facilities and services including:

- desk space and computer (with broadband access)
- local phone, printer, copier, fax
- initial market research
- cultural training
- introductions and networking
- logistical support
- agent identification
- product or service evaluation

Level of assistance
|
Companies can use this program free of cost for the first two weeks and for a reduced rate thereafter of US$250 per month for up to three months.

Eligibility criteria
|
Victorian companies wishing to use the program must receive approval from the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development. Bookings should be made in advance. The program is available on a 'first-come first-served' basis.
