The Victorian Government Business Offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai offer facilities and export-related assistance to Victorian company representatives visiting the region.
Access China aims to assist Victorian companies to:

- forge new relationships with Chinese partners
|
- market their products more effectively
|
- as appropriate, to set up an operation in China
|

Nature of assistance
|
Victorian companies planning to establish new export markets in China - and visiting Hong Kong or Shanghai to identify export opportunities in the Greater China region - may be eligible to use the Victorian Government's office facilities and services including:

|
- computer (including broadband access)
|
- local phone, printer, copier, fax
|
|
|
- introductions and networking
|
|
|
- product/service evaluation
|
|

Level of Assistance
|
Companies can use this program free of cost for the first two weeks and for a reduced rate thereafter of US$250 per month for up to three months.

Eligibility Criteria
|
Victorian companies wishing to use the program must receive approval from the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development. Bookings should be made in advance.
